Toad Hall Farm

Toad Hall Farm is a 23 acre, family run farm in Emmett Michigan. We strive to use sustainable and natural practices to grow and raise the best possible produce for our family and community. We are part of a group called Hoop Houses for Health, which works with the Head Start Program to provide fresh produce and fruit to children. We accept EBT, Double Up Food Bucks, WIC and Project Fresh at the Vantage Point Farmers Market. Contact us to find out how you can pay for your CSA share using your EBT card or Hoop Houses for Health Coupons.

THF sets up at Port Huron Vantage Point Farmers Market. We also sell to local restaurants in the St. Clair County, Lapeer County and Sanilac County areas.

A CSA works as a partnership between the community members and farmer. When you join our CSA, you pay for a season’s worth of vegetables, fruit and herbs before the start of the season. This supplies our farm with the operational money it needs to survive. In turn we, the farmers, acts in good faith to supply the membership with a bounty of fresh, delicious produce throughout the season. There is always an inherent risk in farming. Severe weather, disease and pest problems can cause lower yields and even some crop loss. As a CSA member you take on that risk with the us, but our good farming practices can help lower that risk.

We also work with other local producers with simular growing practices, to make more Michigan products available to provide our members and our community with healthy, local alternatives to products found in the grocery store. When you keep your food buying dollars in the community, you're helping to grow small MI business, like farms, and support MI families.
